LMDA Composer for VS Code

Develop, run, and debug LogicMonitor Groovy and PowerShell module scripts from VS Code and Cursor.

How It Works

1

Connect Your Portal

Add your LogicMonitor hostname and Bearer token. Credentials stay secure and are not saved in your settings file.

2

Pick Collector & Script

Choose a collector, open a Groovy or PowerShell script, or load one from the LogicModules sidebar.

3

Run & Push

Execute on your collector, review output, and push script changes back to your portal.

Features

Script execution

Run Groovy and PowerShell on collectors with live output and validation in Problems.

LogicModules browser

Explore portal modules, load scripts into the editor, and open modules in LogicMonitor.

Push to Portal

Review a side-by-side diff and publish script changes with an optional audit reason.

Debug commands

Search and run collector debug commands from the LMDA sidebar.

Script lint

Static diagnostics for tokens, PropertySource naming, BatchScript patterns, and PowerShell output — in Problems as you type.

Inline actions

Run Script, Run Selection, Push to Portal, and Open in LogicMonitor above your code.

Execution history

Replay recent script runs from the command palette.
